Travel Information

Flights to Prague

Prague is served by Ruzyně International Airport, located approximately 20 km northwest of the city center. It is easy to reach the Diplomat Hotel by either bus or taxi from the airport. Use this MAP to locate the hotel in relation to the airport and Prague center.

Bus

Airport buses are easy, safe, direct and affordable.  Board bus number 119 outside of Terminals 1, 2 or 3 to Dejvická, which is the last stop (end of the line) and disembarks directly in front of the Diplomat Hotel.  The ride takes about 20-25 minutes with only a few intermediate stops.  One-way fare is 40 CZK and tickets can be purchased with cash at a vending machine at the bus stop.  Validate the ticket as you board the bus, and keep it with you for the duration of the ride.

OR -- consider purchasing a 3-day tourist metro pass for 310 CZK, which is valid for all municipal transportation (bus, tram, subway).  Passes can be purchased at the Transit Info Centres located in Terminals 1 and 2 on the main concourse before exiting the airport terminal. Booth hours are 7:00 a.m. to 9:00 p.m. daily. The pass is good for 72 hours from the time it is validated on board your first ride. Hence, a pass purchased and validated on arrival at Ruzyně on Tuesday will remain valid for transportation via subway or tram to the Welcome Reception on Wednesday and the Conference Dinner on Thursday.

Taxi

AAA RadioTaxi and RadioCAB Taxi are the official taxi operators at Ruzyně airport and both have service counters in Terminals 1 and 2.

Hired Car

The Diplomat Hotel will arrange taxi transfers through their Concierge desk for a cost of 550 CZK. Contact the hotel in advance of your travel by email (concierge@diplomathotel.cz) or phone (+420 296 559 117).
