Call for Papers

To have a paper considered for inclusion on the program, please submit an abstract (maximum 300 words) no later than February 15, 2014 (read below for submission instructions). Joint-authored papers should be submitted by the author who will present the paper.

Submitters will be asked to assign their abstract to a Program Committee member representing one of these broad topic areas:

• Agent-based modeling

• Finance

• Macroeconomics - Theory

• Macroeconomics - Empirical

• Econometrics

• Computational Methods

Papers can also be submitted for the CAMP Workshop on Commodity Price Dynamics and Financialization, which will take place following the conference on Wednesday, 25 June, 2014. Papers that are not selected for the workshop will be considered for inclusion in the conference program.

Complete invited sessions are encouraged. Proposals for such sessions should be sent by email to Francesco Furlanetto. Authors of invited papers should indicate in the Submitter's Comments field that the paper is intended for an organized session. If the session organizer is a member of the Program Committee, submit the abstract to that committee member's area. If the session organizer is not on the Program Committee, submit the invited paper to the "Invited Papers" area led by Francesco Furlanetto.

DEADLINES: Abstract submissions are due by February 15, 2014.  Decisions on acceptance will be announced by email on or before March 24, 2014.  Registration for presenters of accepted papers must be completed and paid by May 9, 2014.  Full papers should be uploaded to Conference Maker by May 16, 2014.

REGISTRATION: All presenters, including those whose papers have been invited or solicited by members of the program committee or others to be part of an organized session, will be expected to register and pay fees to attend the conference.

We use Conference Maker^©, a dedicated program for abstract submission and program management.  To connect to Conference Maker, click on the link below (your browser must accept cookies).  You will be prompted to enter your login name and password (the same as for any of your previous Conference Maker submissions). If this is your first time ever using Conference Maker, click the link to sign up for a new account. Then you can login for CEF2014 and submit your abstract by clicking on "Submit a Paper".
