A Notice from SCE: In order to preserve the integrity of our conferences, the Society for Computational Economics will record the names and contact information of conference participants who fail to show up to present their paper or who cancel at the last minute.

Conference Fee

The early conference registration fee is $395 USD, discounted to $345 USD for current students and recent PhDs (earned November 1, 2013 or later). The student discount is funded by the International Association for Applied Econometrics.

The fees quoted above represent an early registration discount applicable for payments received on or before April 25, 2014.  Starting April 26 the fee will increase to the standard rate of $450 USD.  The higher fee applies to all payments received after April 25, even if registration was submitted prior to the deadline.

All participants, including those who were invited by members of the program committee to submit a paper, are expected to pay the full fee. One-day registration is not available.

The registration fee includes more than ever before:

• registration drinks on Saturday afternoon at Radisson Blu Nydalen

• Opening Reception on Sunday evening at Norges Bank

• 20th Anniversary Reception for all attendees on Monday evening at BI Norwegian Business School on the rooftop

• lunches on Sunday, Monday and Tuesday

• coffee breaks

• admission to all sessions

• conference materials (including program/abstract book and USB memory stick preloaded with presented papers)

• one-year membership to the Society for Computational Economics

Participants who wish to present a paper must register and pay fees by May 9, 2014.  After May 9 presenters who have not registered will be removed from the program.

Opening Reception – Sunday, 22 June

The traditional opening reception will take place at Norges Bank and is included in the conference registration fee.

Anniversary Reception – Monday, 23 June

New this year! In place of an optional dinner for an additional fee, we have scheduled an additional reception open to all attendees immediately following the last session on Monday, celebrating the 20th Anniversary of SCE.

Refund policy for registration fees

• Cancellation on or before April 30, 2014: Forfeit US $100; balance of prepayment will be refunded

• Cancellation between May 1 and June 1, 2014: Forfeit US $200; balance of prepayment will be refunded

• Cancellation after June 1, 2014: no refund
